Mendocino County, CA – (September 21, 2006) – Yesterday on the beautiful grounds of the Jeriko Estates winery in Hopland, the Mendocino County Lodging Association officially kicked off their new national campaign to put the county on the map as a destination for world travelers. Innkeepers and lodging dignitaries from all over the county were out in force, including the Mendocino County Lodging Association (MCLA) Board and Jim Abrams, Executive Director of the California Hotel and Lodging Association. Other county officials there to learn show their support for the new effort included county supervisors, city council members and chamber officials from all over Mendocino, as well as representatives from the new Mendocino County Promotional Alliance and the Wine Commission, to name just a few.

Jo Bradley, President of the MCLA, opened the festivities by telling the story of how diverse interests from all over the county had pulled together to create a BID or Business Improvement District. She explained how the volunteer committee of business owners from the MCLA interviewed top agencies, which eventually led to their selection of Ozone Advertising/ HypeHouse Public Relations, a San Francisco firm renowned for their innovative ideas and wide experience.
